Medical Administrative Assistant

A Medical Administration Assistant can perform the duties needed to run the front office of a doctor’s or other medical facilities. It is a significant role in the healthcare industry! This certification training program will prepare you to work in this rapidly growing industry and help secure a better career for you and your family. Upon completion of the program and earning the certification, you will be eligible to apply for a wide variety of jobs such as patient services representative/care coordinator, medical office administration/specialist, medical secretary, medical receptionist, medical billing specialist, and more. The estimated salary ranges from $31,370 to $45,620, and can be higher for experienced employees.

Business Administration

Choose between ONE of these business focused core programs:

Project Management – This course is ideal for a person who wants to grow and formalize their project management skills on an industry neutral, global standard. This course is ideal for a leader or manager wanting to take their career and salary to the next level in earning a globally recognized credential (PMP)®.
Social Media Strategist – A social media strategist creates social media marketing strategies that are carried out on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Google+, and Twitter.
Human Resources – Human resource assistants are responsible for facilitating HR processes, communicating with employees, and representing their company.
Bookkeeping and Payroll – This course covers the basics of business accounting. Students will learn about the accounting equation, analyzing transactions, preparing a worksheet, financial statements, and the fiscal year.

Army Soldiers

The Army Credentialing Assistance (CA) program provides qualifying soldiers with up to $4,000 in educational benefits. Soldiers can utilize these benefits to pay for all necessary books, supplies, and associated materials required for an approved training course and/or exam. Utilization of this program helps to increase the Soldier’s value to and competitiveness of the Army through helping Soldiers attain industry recognized credentials. Credentialing Soldiers helps to improve overall Army readiness through retention of quality Soldiers. This further enhances Soldiers career progression, and provides Soldiers with skills and capabilities reflective of civilian qualifications. Funding is provided for voluntary off-duty courses and/or exams leading to an industry-recognized academic or vocational credential listed in the Army COOL website.

The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) program offers scholarships to certain dislocated workers in the United States. Adults that have been terminated or laid off (including self-employed), eligible for or exhausted unemployment income and unlikely to return to industry or occupation are eligible for this scholarship. 

Spouses of a member of the Armed Forces who lost employment due to permanent change in duty station or is unemployed, underemployed and has difficulty finding or upgrading employment may also be eligible.
