Electronic Health Records

The Healthcare employee with training in Electronic Health Records Specialists performs routine clerical and organizational tasks. EHR will become the primary means of documenting, transmitting, and securing patient information. A basic knowledge of medical terminology, electronic health records, and hospital or laboratory procedures is preferred. The nation is entering a new era of health care where providers must use electronic health records to improve patients’ health and the way health care is delivered in this country. MedCertify has included the Medical Office Simulation Software (MOSS) 3.0 in this program.  MOSS is a computer program designed to simulate the activities of a medical office. This software is be used by medical students to develop practical skills and knowledge in managing patient records, scheduling appointments, billing, coding, and other administrative tasks.

Using this software can provide several benefits to students, such as:
