Certified Logistics Technician (CLT) Certification Prep Program

During the program students will get a full understanding of what it takes to become a Certified Logistics Technician learning both theory and technical skills needed for the position. Students will learn about global supply chain logistics life cycle, the logistics environment, material handling equipment, safety principles, quality control principles, workplace communications, product receiving, product storage, order processing, packaging and shipping, inventory control, dispatch and tracking and more.

Chapter 2: Product Storage

Week 3-4:
Chapter 3: Order Processing
Chapter 4: Packaging and Shipment

Week 5-6:
Chapter 5: Inventory Control
Chapter 6: Safe Handling of Hazardous Materials

Week 7-8:
Chapter 7: Evaluation of Transportation Modes (Truck, Air, Rail, Water)

Week 9-10:
Chapter 8: Dispatch and Tracking Operations

Week 11-12:
Chapter 9: Measuring Weight and Volume

Course Overview

This course will prepare students for the Certified Logistics Technician (CLT) certification exam. This
course will teach students about product receiving, product storage, order processing, packaging and
shipping, inventory control, dispatch and tracking and more. Passing this course requires 80% or better
on quizzes and 85% on Final Practice Exam.

The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) program offers scholarships to certain dislocated workers in the United States. Adults that have been terminated or laid off (including self-employed), eligible for or exhausted unemployment income and unlikely to return to industry or occupation are eligible for this scholarship. 

Spouses of a member of the Armed Forces who lost employment due to permanent change in duty station or is unemployed, underemployed and has difficulty finding or upgrading employment may also be eligible.
