The MyCAA Scholarship (Military Spouse Career Advancement Account) gives eligible military wives or husbands $4,000 of tuition assistance to help gain certification towards a new career.
The MyCAA Scholarship Program is awarded to eligible military spouses who seek certification, license, or an Associate’s degree in a career field and occupation that is highly portable such as medical, business, and IT fields. $4,000 is provided to those who qualify, which, in many cases, completely covers the cost of education.

If you are married to an active duty military service member in the following branches: Army, Air Force, Marines, Navy, and National Guard on Title 10 orders.
Pay grades of service members must be E-1 to E-9, W-1 to W-3, and O-1 to 0-3.
The military spouse must have successfully completed high school.
The My Career Advancement Account Scholarship (MyCAA) pays tuition costs for obtaining a certificate, license, or certification with an accredited technical school, college, or university for education and training courses in the United States. The MyCAA scholarship can also cover costs for obtaining an associate’s degree (excludes general studies, interdisciplinary studies, and liberal arts that do not have a concentration). The degree must give the military spouse portable career opportunities.
